The Autumn months of 2016 will see KING SIZE SLIM touring the UK, Northern France, Belgium and Catalonia. This includes shows with loop-machine blues maniac Son Of Dave and a support show for R’n”B legends Nine Below Zero. Of particular interest to the KING SIZE SLIM team is the short but sweet 6 day tour of Catalonia taking in a special invitation to play an exclusive set for Societat de Blues de Barcelona and also at Casa Irla , a beautiful arts centre venue in Mediterranean town of St.Fileu de Guixolls. Casa Irla is the once childhood home of Josep Irla the president-in-exile of Catalonia during the dark days of Franco. During the life-time of the venue it has served as ,a cafe-bar , a hostelry ,an historic meeting place of political groups, a squat-punk venue and now an Arts Centre housing a museum to its most famous former resident Josep Irla.
