After a four day residency at Veszprém Street Music Festival ( 19-22 July ) the KING SIZE SLIM touring 4-piece band will return to their native Hastings to record a live album. The live recording will take place in the newly refurbished ‘back room’ at The Palace Bars , America Ground , Hastings on Thursday 27th July. Email for more details , slim@kingsizeslim.com. The four piece line-up have been utilising a guerilla rehearsing technique flash mobbing various open air spaces in Hastings Old Town, with over 5000 hits on a facebook video posted from the phone of a passer-by this method of rehearsal has proved very popular.
The rest of Summer ’17 is filled with solo and full band shows at Festivals and Arts Centres across the South. Autumn sees two runs of shows in Northern France. The first across Brittany , the second Picardie and Normandy.
Looking ahead further , discussions have begun with an number of Record Labels around the third KING SIZE SLIM studio album set for release in march 2018.
