JUNE '16 JUNK DELUXE project

Taking a break from touring after a hectic May around the UK with loop-machine maniac Son Of Dave, Toby Barelli finds himself in the rehearsal studio preparing for the debut outing of a brand new collaborative project named JNK DLX.
Heres what the press says....
In between touring and recording with cult British bands The Alabama 3 and The Wedding Present, musicians Steve Finnerty and Katharine Wallinger, alongside award winning artist Toby Barelli (aka King Size Slim) ,George MacDonald, Thom Carter, and Yoon-Ji Kim have created the unique sonic landscape that is JNK DLX - Junk Deluxe. June 24th sees the band bring the ''gorgeous lushness that is Junk Deluxe'' (Andy Weatherall) to the beautiful surroundings of the Kino-Teatr St.Leonards,East Sussex
'' of those gigs you'll regret you infectious groove...dreamy and ethereal''. Pete Donohue, Hastings Independent Press.

April '16 Announcing UK tour dates with SON OF DAVE

All at KING SIZE SLIM are very happy to announce UK tour dates with 'harmonica and beatbox genius' SON OF DAVE. Toby Barelli will join SON OF DAVE for six dates on his upcoming spring 'Explosive hits' UK tour in special arrangement with This is Now agency.
The pair first met a couple of years ago as KING SIZE SLIM performed warm-up duties for SON OF DAVE at a fantastic show at The Marlowe Theatre,Kent. Their paths have crossed a number of times on the live circuit since, in green rooms and festival back-stages,sharing on-the-road stories and back-stage beers and generally getting along just fine. It seems only natural that they should appear on the same bill around the country.
