Now available, the new studio album from Toby Barelli aka King Size Slim. Recorded, hidden away in the beautiful Kent countryside at Rimshot studio between Summer and Autumn '12.

The 11 track album marks a new chapter for the King Size Slim sound. Layered percussion and harmony vocals combine with root-sy live grooves to make this more than a one-man-show. Guest musicians are featured on several tracks lending the album a varied palate of sounds.

Initially released only at live performances the new album is now available at the 'shop' page on the King Size Slim website and shortly at your local independent record store through Proper music distribution, I-tunes and other digital formats.

MAY '13 Summer Festival Season

Summer festival season '13 is going to be a busy one for King Size Slim, confirmed bookings for festivals both small and large all over the U.K are coming in thick and fast.

Beginning the season at Scrumpy Dubbers VW jam in the West Country then Maidstone fringe festival, Small World,Faversham Hop Festival, Tribal Earth and Broadstairs Folk Week.

Glastonbury festival of music and arts will see King Size Slim debut at the festival as featured artist at The Cockmills Bar located in the Acoustic Field playing a nightly residency throughout the festival.

Later on in the year King Size Slim will headline Boxstock '13 in Leicester , a unique event celebrating Cigar box guitars , slide playing and all things rootsy.

The new studio album 'Milk Drunk' is at the final mixing and mastering stage with promotional dates set for February 2013.

The full album will be available on general release in February 2013 on Treehouse44 records. Featuring guest musicians Roger Hubbard, whos beautiful Mandolin playing is featured on the pre-release track 'Rising Spring' and also Aimee Grintner who provides a wonderful feminine vocal counterpart to Toby Barelli's vocal on one track and Drummer legend Andy Newmark adding his trademark style to two tracks. This new album has been a long time coming, but it is very nearly complete.

2013 is going to be a busy year for all at Camp King Size Slim, with some choice shows for the early part of the year including The Hootananny in Brixton, Concorde II in Brighton and two support shows for New Orleans legend Zigaboo Modeliste. A full UK tour is planned for April.
